Arsenal started the new season with a winning goal after beating Wolves 2-0 in a game where Bukayo Saka both scored and assisted in English Premier League.

36′ Wolves almost got another after Arsenal lost the ball in front of the penalty area. Hwang Hee-Chan carefully crossed into the penalty area for Jorgen Strand Larsen to head in from close range. But David Raya made a one-handed save.

At the end of the first half, Arsenal continued to attack. Gabriel Martinelli broke into the penalty area on the left before locking and shooting over the bar. The Gunners led 1-0 at the end of the first half.

In the second half, in the 51st minute, Kai Havertz almost scored another goal for himself and his team. After receiving the ball from Martinelli before shooting in the penalty area. But his footwork was not good and the ball went wide of the frame.

Arsenal got their chance in the 70th minute. When Bukayo Saka passed to Martin Odegaard who fired a left-footed shot from the edge of the area that Jose Sa had to push hard behind.

The Gunners pulled ahead 2-0 in the 74th minute when Kai Havertz fed Bukayo Saka. Who weaved past the visitors on the right side of the box before firing home a powerful left-footed shot.

After that, there were no more goals. So the game ended with Arsenal starting the season with a 2-0 win over Wolves, collecting 3 points as targeted.
