Torino midfielder Cesare Casadei is excited to experience the atmosphere of the Italy national team after being called up to the senior national team for the first time.

Casadei just moved from Chelsea to Torino in the winter transfer window for €13 million plus a number of add-ons. He has had regular playing time and has performed well.

“It’s been a great month เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย and a half. I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I can. I’m working hard to adapt and do what Toro needs to do to win as many games as possible,” Casadei said.

Casadei is a regular in Torino’s midfield alongside Samuele Ricci and has made six appearances in Serie A, scoring one goal and providing one assist, earning Luciano Spalletti a call-up to the Italian national team.

“I’m so happy. It’s something I’m so proud of and excited about. I can’t wait to experience it.”

His move to Italy had been in doubt, especially when there was a transfer market tug of war between Torino and Europa League contenders Lazio, so what prompted his final decision?

“The club showed more conviction in warning me, they had faith in me from the first minute and I knew that after the last few years, I needed to get more regular playing time,” replied Casadei.

“I felt that Torino was the best place for me to play and show what I can do. I am trying to repay them for their trust and give my all for this jersey.”

Italy will face Germany in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League, with the first leg at San Siro on March 20 and the second at Signal Iduna Park three days later.
